FIRST STILL LIFE - 2015

These are Zinnias growing in the garden.  I put them in a Pates vase which is part of my collection of lovely Australian vases and pottery.

This is a small oil painting 10" x 12".

Here is a little collection of Diana pottery.  The little basket was a gift from my collecting friend Sylvia of Linens and Royals blog.  Sylvia has an amazing collection which is wonderous to behold.

MARUTOMOWARE - Children's tea sets

Here are the two Marutomoware tea sets I have in my collection.  They are very beautiful and I don't know how parents who bought these for their children allowed them to play with them.  The piggie tea set comes in various colours and the koala set I have also seen in brown.  The koala tea set is rare and I have waited a long time to be able to purchase this.

The koala tea set does not seem to have been sold in Australia as the only ones I have seen for sale have come from the USA and New Zealand.  If anyone can tell me the history of these sets please let me know?
